THE ENTITY TENDER COMMITTEE MEETING
The Entity Tender Committee of the Tema West Municipal Assembly held a sitting to consider and approve evaluation reports for key contracts under the 2024–2025 Composite Budget.
The meeting, chaired by the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Ludwig Teye-Totimeh, brought together members of the Tender Committee, officials from the Finance Department, Procurement Unit, and Works Department. The purpose was to review evaluation outcomes submitted by the Procurement Unit and grant approval for contract awards in accordance with the Public Procurement Act.

The approved contracts cover priority development interventions in areas such as road infrastructure, sanitation improvement, and supply of logistics. The Finance Department provided input on budget availability and funding readiness for each procurement item.
Hon. Teye-Totimeh emphasized the Assembly’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and strict adherence to procurement guidelines. He commended the efforts of the technical teams and assured that management remains focused on delivering projects that respond to the needs of the municipality.
The sitting forms part of ongoing efforts by the Assembly to ensure effective budget execution and value for money in public spending.
