TEMA WEST MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY HOLDS LEADERSHIP AND CONFLICT MANAGEMENT TRAINING
Planner Percy Anaab Bukari (FGIP) successfully facilitated a two-day capacity-building training for the Management and Staff of the Tema West Municipal Assembly, focusing on Leadership, Team Building, and Conflict Management for Management. The training took place on Thursday, December 18, 2025, and Friday, December 19, 2025.

The training session was designed to strengthen the managerial competencies of the Assembly’s leadership, equipping them with the skills required to manage the organization professionally and effectively. Participants were guided on how to achieve institutional success through the optimal transformation of informed data and available resources into clearly defined goals and sustainable development outcomes, supported by sound organizational structures and processes.

Mr. Bukari emphasized the critical role of efficient leadership and cohesive management teams in maximizing the use of limited resources to address the prioritized development needs of residents within the municipality. He underscored that strong leadership and teamwork are essential for ensuring quality service delivery at the local government level.
The training also addressed conflict management, highlighting common causes of workplace conflict and outlining practical steps and strategies for managing and resolving such conflicts constructively. Participants were encouraged to adopt proactive and collaborative approaches to conflict resolution in order to promote harmony, productivity, and institutional effectiveness. The session forms part of ongoing efforts by the Tema West Municipal Assembly to enhance staff capacity and improve governance and service delivery within the municipality.
