TWMA HOLDS STAFF DURBAR TO ADDRESS WELFARE CONCERNS

The Tema West Municipal Assembly (TWMA) on Monday, July 7, 2025, held a staff durbar aimed at addressing internal concerns and fostering improved communication between management and staff.

The durbar, chaired by the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon. Ludwig Teye Totimeh, and the Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Emmanuel Kwami Kungi, created a platform for open dialogue. Staff raised critical issues including inadequate logistics, delayed promotions, limited access to training, and challenges with office space.



In his remarks, Hon. Totimeh reaffirmed management’s commitment to resolving the concerns raised, emphasizing that staff welfare remains a top priority.

The session also featured a health briefing by a representative from the Ghana Health Service, who educated staff on managing hypertension and diabetes, and underscored the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle.


Staff welcomed the initiative and expressed optimism that the engagement would lead to tangible improvements.
