Tema West Holds Stakeholder Engagement Meeting on LEAP Beneficiary Reassessment

The Tema West Municipal Assembly on Tuesday, 17th June 2025, hosted a stakeholder engagement meeting at the Assembly Hall with members of the District LEAP Implementation Committee (DLIC), representatives from Esoko, and Community Focal Persons.

The meeting aimed to discuss and streamline the planning, organization, and reassessment of beneficiaries under the Livelihood Empowerment Against Poverty (LEAP) programme within the Municipality.

Addressing participants, the Municipal Director of Social Welfare emphasized the importance of accurate and timely reassessments to ensure that the programme continues to support the most vulnerable households. Representatives from Esoko presented digital tools and processes designed to facilitate data collection and beneficiary tracking.

The engagement created an opportunity for shared learning, collaboration, and commitment among stakeholders toward improving the delivery and impact of the LEAP programme in Tema West.
