TEMA WEST MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY HOLDS TOWN HALL MEETING FOR THE YEAR 2025

The Tema west municipal assembly held its first Public Financial Management Town Hall Meeting for the year 2025 in Klagon which took place on the 14th of May, Hon. Ludwig Teye Totimeh, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Tema West, addressed a cross-section of community members, traditional leaders, civil society actors, and corporate representatives and acknowledged the steady growth of communities such as Adjei Kojo and Klagon.


The meeting also featured agendas and presentations from Assembly technocrats on budget allocations, upcoming development projects, and strategies for efficient financial management. A public comment session allowed residents to voice concerns and share ideas on issues such as sanitation, security, and youth employment. They were: Presentation of 2024 Project Progress Report and 2025 Planned Activities
Presentation of 2024 Budget Performance and 2025 Budget Revenue
Presentation of Procedures for Permit Application on Building Sanitation and Road
Open Forum


The Municipal Chief Executive emphasized that, the Assembly cannot tackle issues such as inadequate road networks and infrastructure deficits alone, especially in rapidly expanding areas like Adjei Kojo and Klagon and appealed to stakeholders, particularly industry players, to collaborate with the Tema West Municipal Assembly (TWMA) in addressing the municipality’s developmental challenges.
