TEMA WEST MUNICIPALITY CELEBRATES GHANA’S 68TH INDEPENDENCE DAY

The Tema West Municipality marked Ghana’s 68th Independence Day in grand style under the theme: Reflect, Review, and Reset. The event was characterized by a vibrant parade that brought together students, educators, municipal officials, and community members and elders to celebrate the nation’s achievements and its path forward.



The Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Emmanuel Kwame Kungi, in his address, emphasized the significance of unity and economic recovery in fostering national development. He urged the youth and stakeholders to embrace the values of hard work, economic recovery, and cooperation in building a stronger Ghana.


The celebration was further elevated by an impressive show-case from the TEMASCO Cadet Corps, whose disciplined march and coordinated performance instilled a sense of patriotism and national consciousness among attendees. Their participation underscored the importance of youth involvement in national activities and the role of discipline in shaping future leaders.



The event also featured cultural performances as a symbol of Ghana’s continued journey towards progress and unity.
