REPORT ON THE MUNICIPAL CHIEF EXECUTIVE (M.C.E) THREE DAY WORKING TOUR OF COMPANIES WITHIN THE MUNICIPALITY ON 8TH MAY TO 10TH MAY, 2023.

As part of her engagement with the corporate institutions, the Municipal Chief Executive of the Tema West Municipal Assembly, has embark on a familiarization tour to some selected companies operating within the Municipality. This exercise started on the 8th May 2023 and ended on 10th May 2023.

The visit was to enable the Municipal Chief Executive to have first-hand knowledge on the operations of the companies and also provide both parties the platform to share ideas on how best the Assembly can collaborate to boost productivity and improve the business environment in the Municipality.

Hon. Anna Naa Adukwei Addo first call was the Deunited Food industry, where she toured the company and interacted with management. The second visit was the Coca-Cola Bottling limited were the Chief Executive Officer after touring and interacting with management assured to address the drainage and the bad road network within the light industrial area where the company is sited.

The Municipal Chief Executive and her entourage proceeded to the Kasapreko/ Company Limited where she also met the management of Kasapreko Company Limited and solicited for support to improve the Municipality.

After a brief session with management, she thanked them for maintaining excellent workplace security and safety standards.

She added that, every firm must ensure that its employees, visitors and the entire company premises were safe for all, and strengthen working relations between the company and their Chiefs.

Almost all the companies she visited, she requested that the company assisted the Municipal Assembly in developing the Municipality, emphasizing that the Municipal Assembly was frequently faced with financial constraints and would require the support of corporate institutions to undertake some development projects for the residents of the community.

She mentioned a few projects, such as classroom blocks, access to roads, and other social projects that required some collaboration to develop for usage in the town.

Addressing the entourage, Mr. Ali Barimah, a manager with the Kasapreko Company and Head of Procurement, hinted that the company and other stakeholders in the municipality were ready to support the Assembly succeed as it was about time for the Tema West Municipal Assembly collaborated with various enterprises development projects.

The M.C.E also visited, Equator foods Ghana Limited, Frosty Bite Ghana Limited, Afrotropic Cocoa Processing Company Limited, CBL West Africa Limited and Three Dreamers Manufactory Company Limited, and share the Assembly developmental strategies and solicit their support to develop the Municipality.

The Municipal Chief Executive was accompanied by the Municipal Coordinating Directors, Municipal Environmental Health Officers, Municipal physical planner, Municipal works Engineer, Municipal Information Officer , Municipal Road Engineer and Public Relations Officer were among the authorities from the Assembly.
