TWMA TOWN HALL MEETING AT EBENEZER METHODIST CHURCH.

On May 6, 2024, the Tema West Municipal Assembly held a town hall meeting at Ebenezer Methodist Church, Baatsona, starting at 10:00 AM to update the community on local planning and budgeting.

This event, following regulatory mandates as outlined in the National Development Planning System Regulation of 2016 (LI 2232), the Local Governance Act of 2016 (Act 936), and the National Development Planning (System) Act of 1994 (Act 480), began with opening remarks by the Municipal Coordinating Director on behalf of the Municipal Chief Executive.

The assembly presented the 2023 project progress and 2024 plans, along with the 2023 budget performance and 2024 revenue projections. Permit application processes for building, sanitation, and road reservations was also explained to the constituents. The meeting concluded with an open forum for public questions and feedback.

This session aimed to ensure transparency, accountability, and community involvement in local governance.
