BREAKING GROUND FOR NEW JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL CLASSROOM BLOCK AT SRAHA SCHOOL.

On the 12th of August 2024, with support from Hon. Carlos Ahenkorah (MP for Tema West) and Hon. Felicia Edem Attipoe (MCE for Tema West Municipal Assembly) the Ministry of Education, Basic School Structure-GALLOP initiated a sod-cutting ceremony for a new three-unit classroom block for the Junior High School at Sraha . The project, aimed at addressing overcrowding and improving the learning environment, will provide students with modern, well-equipped classrooms and improved sanitation facilities.


The ceremony was attended by key officials, such as Isaac MacCarthy-Mensah (Education Director for Tema West), Nii Dzorwulu I (Chief of Sraha) and community members who expressed their enthusiasm for the initiative with support from the Tema West Municipal Assembly.



This project is a significant step forward in ensuring that every child in the Sraha community has access to quality education in a conducive setting. The event concluded with a symbolic breaking of the ground, signaling the start of construction and a brighter future for the students of Sraha School.
