National Youth Authority

CORE MANDATE:

The National Youth Authority exist to provide an environment for youth participation in the cultural-socio-economic and political development using appropriate technology and highly-motivated professionals.

OBJECTIVES

1. Advocate, facilitate and ensure the mainstream of youth development issues.
2. Garner relevant stakeholder interest and commitment to provide the youth with opportunities for skills training, employment and market information.
3. Design appropriate collaboration and partnerships to strengthen the link between education and diversified productivity labour markets
4. Coordinate promotion of youth participation and acquisition of universal ethics in electoral democracy and governance
5. Partner and collaborate in reduction of violence and crime among young people.

SERVICES PROVIDED

1.Registration of youth groups in the municipality.
2.Coordinating and facilitating all youth activities.
