President Nana Akufo-Addo Commissions School Junction Motorway Road.

On 26th August 2024, His Excellency President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo officially commissioned the newly completed School Junction Motorway road, marking a significant milestone in enhancing connectivity between School Junction and the Tema Motorway. The ceremony drew high-profile attendees, including the Greater Accra Regional Minister, Hon. Nii Kwartei Titus Glover, Minister for Roads and Highways, Hon. Francis Asenso Boakye, the Paramount Chief of the Nungua Traditional Area, King (Dr) Odaifio Welentsi III, and the Municipal Chief Executive of the Tema West Municipal Assembly, Hon. Felicia Edem Attipoe.



In his address, the President highlighted the importance of the road in alleviating traffic congestion, a long-standing challenge for commuters, while also improving access for local businesses and facilitating economic growth. The Minister for Roads and Highways, Hon. Francis Asenso Boakye, echoed these sentiments, emphasizing the project's economic benefits for the local and national economies.


This newly commissioned road demonstrates the government's dedication to upgrading national infrastructure, positioning the School Junction Motorway road as a crucial development in the region's transportation network.
