TEMA WEST ASSEMBLY MEMBERS RECEIVED MOTORBIKES.

The Tema West Municipal Assembly (TWMA) on Wednesday 25TH May, 2022 presented 17 motorbikes to the Local Assembly Members to enhance their mobility within their electoral areas.

During a short ceremony of handing over the Motorbikes to the Assembly Members, Hon. Anna Naa Adukwei Addo, Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) noted that, delivery of the Motorbikes by the National Association of Local Government (NALAG) was very timely, which will serve as a source of transportation for the Honorable Assembly Members to discharge their duties effectively.

She stated that, the Assembly Members were faced with a lot of challenges of reaching out to their electorates in remote areas where most vehicles find it difficult to go.

Hon. MCE, therefore understand the fact that the work of the assembly members is voluntary and much challenges. She added that the motorbikes would serve as a motivation for the Hon. Members to engage their electorates more often without transportation constraints.

Hon. Anna Naa Adukwei Addo, later urged them to take good care of the motorbikes and also cautioned them to demonstrate true leadership to people within the electoral areas, by ensuring the use of helmets and adhering to the road traffic regulations at all time.

Receiving the Motorbikes on behalf of the Assembly Members Hon. Osanyonmor Patrick Atitiati Laweh, Presiding Member for the Tema West Municipal Assembly, thanked the Tema West Municipal Assembly and NALAG on behalf of all the Assembly Members and government appointees for their kind support to alleviate their plight
