Tema West Municipal Assembly Holds Collaborative Meeting with Fuel Station Representatives to Enhance Safety Measures

The management of the Tema West Municipal Assembly, under the leadership of Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon. Felicia Edem Attipoe, convened a significant meeting with key representatives from various fuel stations operating within the municipality. The meeting, held on June 18, 2024, brought together officials from Shell, Nick Petroleum, EV, Goil, Puma, Star Oil, and Total Filling Stations.


The discussion centered on the implementation of critical safety measures aimed at safeguarding the residents of Tema West. Among the key topics was the enhancement of police patrols at fueling stations, a move that is expected to bolster security and deter potential criminal activities. In addition, the readiness and availability of fire service trucks were thoroughly reviewed, with a focus on ensuring prompt response times in the event of emergencies.
