Tema West Municipal Assembly Holds 1st Ordinary General Assembly Meeting .
The Tema West Municipal Assembly successfully conducted its 1st Ordinary General Assembly Meeting of the 1st Session of the 3rd Assembly on June 28th and 29th, 2024. The two-day meeting, which was attended by Hon. Assembly Members and various stakeholders, saw the discussion and approval of key reports and the formation of important subcommittees.

Hon. Felicia Edem Attipoe, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), delivered her Sessional Address during the meeting. The address, which outlined the Assembly's achievements, challenges, and future plans, was thoroughly discussed and accepted by the Hon. Assembly Members as a guiding document for the Assembly's activities moving forward.

Following the Sessional Address, Hon. Attipoe presented the Executive Committee Report, which was reviewed and subsequently approved by the Assembly Members. This report provided a comprehensive overview of the committee's work and highlighted ongoing and upcoming projects within the municipality.

Additionally, reports from the Zonal Councils were presented by their respective Secretaries and were discussed and approved by the Assembly. The Information Officer also presented a report on behalf of the Public Relations and Complaints Committee, which was similarly approved after deliberation.

During the meeting, the Assembly also addressed other important matters, including the formation of a Tourism Subcommittee and an Environmental Health and Sanitation Subcommittee. These subcommittees will focus on enhancing tourism development and improving environmental health and sanitation within the municipality, furthering the Assembly's commitment to the well-being of its residents.
