Tema West Municipal Assembly Hosts Town Hall Meeting at Community 2.

The Tema West Municipal Assembly held a successful town hall meeting on August 21, 2024, at the Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church, Community 2. The meeting, which commenced at 9:00 AM, was aimed at updating residents on key developments and plans within the municipality.


The Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Felicia Edem Attipoe, gave the opening remarks, welcoming community members and stakeholders. She emphasized the importance of community engagement in the governance process.


During the meeting, the Assembly presented an update on the progress of its 2023 projects and unveiled its strategic plans for 2024. The 2023 budget performance was presented, alongside the revenue projections for the coming year. Additionally, the Assembly provided detailed explanations of the permit application processes for building, sanitation, and road reservations, aimed at streamlining procedures for residents.



The town hall concluded with an open forum where participants were given the opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback. This interactive session allowed the public to voice their concerns and offer suggestions, further promoting transparency and collaboration between the Assembly and the community.
