TEMA WEST MUNICIPAL CHIEF EXECUTIVE DONATED TO MUSLIM .

The Tema West Municipal Assembly led by the Municipal Chief Executive Hon. Anna Adukwei Addo has presented assorted items with cash to the various Chief Imams within the Municipality towards this year Eid-ul-Adha celebration.

Presenting the sheep’s (Rams) to the various Chief Imams within the eleven ( 11) electoral area, Hon. Anna Naa Adukwei Addo expressed appreciation to the Muslim community for their prayers and support towards the Assembly over the years, and pledged the Assembly continuous collaboration for the coming years

She indicated that, Muslim communities in Ghana form the second- largest religion adding that, they are very important to the Assembly and the country as a whole.

Hon. Anna Naa Adukwei Addo advised that this year’s Eid-ul-Adha celebrations should be an opportunity for Muslims all over the country to co-exist peacefully and cautioned the youth to celebrate in moderation in order to avert unforeseen mishaps.

Imam Sheikh Aziz Sama1e, Tema West Municipal Chief Imam, received the items on behalf of the Muslim Community, expressed gratitude to the Municipal Chief Executive especially the President for the kind gesture.

He later expressed the Muslim Communities willingness to support the Municipal Chief Executive vision in the Tema West Restoration Agenda, which aimed to rebuild Tema West to its original status.
