TEMA WEST MCE HANDOVER KEYS FOR NEW POLICE STATION AT KANAWU.

Management of the Tema West Municipal Assembly, led by the Municipal Chief Executive Hon. Anna Naa Adukwei Addo, on Monday 24th January, 2022 have formally received the keys to the newly constructed Kanawu Police Station and handed it over to the Adjei-Kojo police command for operational duties to commence.

Presenting the key to the police, Hon. Anna Naa Adukwei Addo commended to the personnel for demonstrating commitment to duty and ensuring an incident free within Adjei-Kojo and its environs She noted that, as a result of the thriving economic activities associated with the rapid development taking place in the Municipality, there had been a lot of all manner of people settling in the area posing threat to the security of the resident.

She said in tandem with the Assembly’s interest is to provide security in the Municipality, it was imperative that they ensured the security in the community by collaborating with the police and other national security agencies.

The MCE later assured the police that, the Assembly will continue to support them with fuel in aid in their day and night patrols.

On her part, Madam C\SUPT Sussy Adjei, Adjei-Kojo police Commander was grateful to the Assembly especially the government for providing an ultra-modern facility to the police. She promised that her outfit will maintain it for the betterment of the area.
