TEMA WEST MUNICIPAL CHIEF EXECUTIVE PRESENTS 200 DESKS TO SCHOOLS.
The Tema West Municipal Assembly (TWMA) on Wednesday 25th May, 2022 presented 200 dual desks to the Tema West Municipal Education Directorate for basic schools to help bridge the furniture deficit.
Presenting the desks to the Municipal Education Director on behalf of the Assembly, the Municipal Chief Executive Hon. Anna Naa Adukwei Addo hinted that, the Assembly received data on the furniture needs for all public schools from kindergarten to Junior High School and observed deficit.
Hon. Anna Naa Adukwei Addo stated that, the desks issue came up strongly during her tour within the Municipality, saying this necessitated an immediate intervention adding that the 200 desks were the consignment and the remaining needy schools will soon receive their share.
Receiving the desk on behalf of the schools, the Municipal Education Director Mr. Isaac Maccarthy Mensah said, the desks would be used to bridge the furniture gap at the schools within the Municipality especially Adjei Kojo Primary School and other schools around the area. \He therefore thanked the Assembly, especially the MCE for her kind gesture and promised to share among the schools who needed it most
