Tema West Municipal Assembly Supports Traditional Councils Ahead of Homowo Festival

The Tema West Municipal Assembly donated assorted items to the Nungua Traditional Council in support of the 2024 Homowo festival. The donation, part of the Assembly's Corporate Social Responsibility, included maize, fish, palm oil, water, assorted drinks, whisky, schnapps, and an undisclosed amount of money. These contributions were made to aid in the preparation of "kpokpoi," a traditional meal central to the festival

Hon. Attipoe emphasized that the donation reflects the Assembly's commitment to supporting local stakeholders, particularly traditional leaders, during important cultural events. Nii Afotey Gbetse VI, the Nungua Asoprotsonaa Mantse, received the items on behalf of the council and expressed gratitude to the Assembly and MCE for their generous support.
